Blackrock Music Festival returns to Blackrock Park on Saturday 29th August 2026, running from 12.30pm until 9pm. It’s a free, family-friendly day out with live music from Poitín, Stanley Brothers, The Faneside Ceili Band, The Bobby McCarthy Band and The Willin’ Fools, plus face painting, pony rides, a dog show, food stalls and activities for all ages. Admission and all activities are free — just bring a picnic blanket, enjoy the sunshine and stay for the music.

Lovely Dog Competition
Competition runs 2pm–4pm, judging from 3pm . Drop by the Dundalk Dog Rescue stall to enter, buy merch and be in with a chance of winning their hamper — all proceeds support the rescue.

Entry and activities are free — food, drink and market stalls will be charging.
